Parkour Classes Third Anniversary Jam

Our Parkour classes completed three very successful years on Jul 23, 2011. (Although, this is not a Parkour Mumbai anniversary, we've been around for a good five years now, and even we don't know when exactly to peg the anniversary date.) Three years on, and we're still the only ones running a Parkour gym or a Parkour class in the country. Well, a legitimate class anyway. During this time I trained many people, and saw them grow and prosper in the discipline. I had the good fortune to train a lot of talented and gifted athletes during this time. I saw to it that people stuck to their training, and trained consistently and in the right manner, and helped them realize and achieve their training goals. Parkour Mumbai became one of the few places in the country where we consistently strove to break the high-attrition-rate curse of Parkour training in India by routinely churning out athletes that hung back and trained for longer than the average turnover period for traceurs in the country, and saw some concrete progress in their strength, abilities, and skills, instead of just learning the ability to perform a few checklist of techniques.

This video shows the highlights from the event we held to commemorate the day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HU3mNGEKnCA

We played several games that day, including Lava Monster, Timed Course Runs, Prison Island, etc., in addition to people going off in different directions doing their own stuff.

Big thanks go out to all my students that attended - both past and current, and helped make the classes, and the event such a big success. May the Flow be with you all.
